Today we went to the Brera Art Gallery, home to a large collection of Italian renaissance art. The most famous peice housed there is The Marriage of the Virgin(also known as Lo Sposalizio)which is an oil painting by Raphael.
I never realized untill we were at the gallery how big most of these paintings are. They take up entire walls which makes the work that much more beautiful, its amazing to see in person.
